Food & Nutrition Services Team Leader

• Position Summary
  • Oversees and provides direction to staff members related to completion of work, work schedules and work assignments of in the food and nutrition services department.
• Minimum Qualifications
  • Work Experience
    • Two years of hospital food service, commercial kitchen, or related experience required.

    Education
    • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

    • None required.

    • Oversees and provides direction to staff members related to completion of work, work schedules, and work assignments within established policies and procedures of Med Center Health.
    • Provides leadership in problem identification and resolution, and coordinates resolutions in collaboration with department leader.

    • Assists with hiring, training, development, and retention of employees who have the appropriate level of job knowledge, skill and overall fit to the department and to the organization.

    • Ensures established procedures are followed in the preparation of snacks, external tube feedings and bulk nourishments as ordered.
    • Assists in maintaining the sanitation in the department.
    • Checks completed trays for proper foods according to diet, set up, and temperature requirements.

Salary : $12 - $17
