This position also supports staff development, performance management, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental budgeting and resource planning.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, environmental services, business, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Three years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, facilities operations, or related experience required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of infection prevention practices, cleaning standards, and regulatory requirements in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge or ability to learn staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to operational needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar systems.
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) preferred.
