Position Overview :
We are seeking a contracted Nurse Practitioner to work with our team on a flexible, per diem, or short-term basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. You will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while contributing to a positive work environment focused on wellness and team cohesion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Care : Perform comprehensive physical exams, diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions. Provide follow-up care and collaborate with patients to develop effective treatment plans.
- Clinical Support : Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education on health and wellness topics.
- EHR Management : Accurately document patient encounters in the AdvancedMD EHR system , ensuring timely, thorough, and compliant charting.
- Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, medical assistants, and other providers to coordinate care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Telemedicine : Provide virtual visits, when applicable, using secure telemedicine platforms to extend care to patients who may not be able to visit in person.
- Patient Education : Empower patients to make informed decisions about their health through education on conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Billing & Documentation : Ensure all necessary documentation is completed according to billing and coding guidelines for proper insurance reimbursement.
