About The Role
The Insurance Manager is responsible for oversight and guidance on client-contracted projects to ensure quality, efficiency, and professional growth. This role leads client-focused strategies to strengthen partnerships and drive continuous improvement.
Title: Insurance Manager
Location: Remote
Schedule: Flexibility needed as we serve clients across Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones
Department: Insurance
Reports To: Director of Insurance
Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 base Monthly Performance Incentives
Key Responsibilities
Manages existing client relationships and leads the development of new clients
Oversees supervisors and staff in training and education and ensures team is current on all new processes for internal, governmental, and client related
Oversees development of processes and procedures to best manage processes, staff, and meet client expectations
Manages staff in areas of HR including performance reviews, conduct expectations, hiring and firing of staff and addresses any performance, quality of work, and/or other concerns in an effective and timely manner
Initiates team development projects and opportunities to improve performance of team
Discovers revenue enhancement opportunities and implements improvements
Required Qualifications
6 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience in a leadership role Experience managing total team size of 50 employees
Hands-on experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, and Commercial Insurance
Experience in Professional Billing (PB) and Hospital Billing (HB)
Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, Commercial Insurance
Expertise using Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms such as Epic, MEDITECH Expanse, or HealthQuest
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Waystar or Experian Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platforms
Experience with Rural & Critical Access Hospitals (CAH)
