MECKLEY SERVICES, INC., IS LOOKING FOR A COMMERCIAL CARPENTER THAT WILL DRIVE OUR COMPANY VEHICLE TO AND FROM CUSTOMER SITES TO INSTALL AND REPAIR COMMERCIAL CARPENTRY SERVICE REQUESTS.
The perfect candidate for this position will be an individual who is a self-starter who takes pride in their work. Also, has the ability to work independently, provide maintenance, repair and remodel services to our customers. Our average carpenter makes $80K with OT.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to Customer Service Requests (service calls)
- Drywall Installation - Door and Hardware Installation - Flooring -- Ceramic tile, VCT, Carpet
- Ceiling -- Acoustical tile and Grid Installation - Basic Electrical - Basic Plumbing
- Concrete -- Commercial Windows - Exterior Metal
- Experience with framing
- Aptitude to estimate materials, labor and equipment costs
- Work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with the customer
- Maintain current vehicle inventory, cleanliness and maintenance
- Present a professional appearance and attitude
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- 2 years of proven experience is required to be considered.
- Experience with hand & power tools
- Effectively and efficiently multi-task and prioritize
- Schedule flexibility - must be willing to work overtime, nights and weekends
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a criminal background screening, drug test, and driver's license check.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
