Role Overview:
● Performs engineering assignments on part of a major project or of a complete
project.
● Demonstrates creativity in developing solutions, which will allow Rockwell
Automation to maintain our position as an Industry leader.
● Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and works well within a team environment.
● Capable of defining and performing engineering tests to qualify designs.
● Capable of designing electro-mechanical test systems for various engineering design
validation projects.
● Capable of executing engineering change orders and managing BOMs
● Capable of creating and modifying CAD models and drawings
Qualification:
● Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or
university.
● Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for
employment visas, now or in the future.
● Co-op Requirement: eligible to work during the Spring school semester, from January
through August.
● The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
● Pursuing a bachelors or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering/Systems
Engineering or similar.
● Minimum cumulative GPA of at 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
● Preference given to students with previous Rockwell Automation work experience or
trained on our equipment.
● Proficiency in the use of a 3D Solid Modeling CAD system (preferably Pro/E,Creo,
and Solidworks) and PLM software
● Experience with programming electro mechanical systems.
● Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise software
● Familiarity with designing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical test systems which
include pneumatic cylinders, limit & proximity switches, linear bearing systems
● A good understanding of multi action tooling fabrication techniques to support
complex plastic injection molded or die cast components
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $22-32 per hour.
