A Day in your life as our intern:

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed.

Role/responsibilities:

• Participate in research projects:
• (a) Understand the technical requirements and identify components for new designs 
• (b) Plan, build, and adapt test circuits, and 
• (c) Conduct laboratory tests, analyze data, and improve/optimize the solution
• Interact and actively communicate with other team members in the research organization and with suppliers of novel components for power converters and protection devices.
• Deliver results in the form of numerical models and hardware demonstrations in support of new scientific knowledge and technical design recommendations, and internal technical reports and presentations.
• Living company’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD or M.S. degree program in the US in Electrical Engineering (recent graduates will also be considered).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role is $20-34 per hour.
