An established heavy equipment service operation is hiring a Senior Diesel Technician to support specialized drilling, pile driving, and foundation construction equipment in St. Louis, MO. This position involves advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance both in the shop and at customer jobsites.
This is a large, well-equipped facility with multiple bays, overhead cranes, and strong support infrastructure.
Requirements
Must-Haves
- 7–10 years of heavy equipment repair experience
- Advanced hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Experience with:
- PM services
- Engine diagnostics
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical repairs
- Ability to travel to jobsites as required
- Must own technician tools
- Valid driver’s license
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with drilling rigs or foundation equipment
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Familiarity with CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, or OEM software
- CDL considered an asset
- Experience in field service environments

Hours
- Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Optional Saturdays available
- Most Senior Technicians work 50 hours weekly
- Eight-bay shop environment with overhead cranes, heat, and ventilation
- Outdoor work expected due to equipment size
- Field service opportunities available
