Mobile Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Lead Mechanic

Filling a Mobile Truck Mechanic position based in North Carolina (Raleigh-Durham, and Greensboro, Burlington, areas). This is a field-based role servicing a fleet of primarily Freightliner Cascadia semi trucks, box trucks, Internationals, and other fleet vehicles (2016–2027 model years). Mechanics dispatch from home daily in fully equipped service trucks (Ford F350s or Ram 5500s) and perform mobile repairs at customer locations and facilities. No fixed shop environment.

Requirements:

Must-haves:
• 4 years truck field service experience
• Freightliner Cascadia expertise
• Powertrain and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
• Light diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to pass background check, criminal record check, drug test, and TSA Security Threat Assessment
• Personal hand tools (3/4" drive, 1.5" pipe wrenches, etc.)

Nice-to-haves:
• Cummins engine experience
• Deep engine diagnostics capability
• Welding or generator experience

Compensation & Benefits:
• $35–$45/hour (based on skill and experience)

Hours:

• Service trucks dispatched from home daily
