What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Truck Technician position at Mechanics Hub?
A reputable and well-established employer in a very well equipped shop, is urgently seeking a Diesel Truck Technician in Concord, NC!
The ideal Technician will have at least 5 years of previous technical repair experience as a Diesel Truck Technician, 2 years of experience as an advanced engine, & electrical diagnostic Technician!
Responsibilities:
- Perform triage, diagnosis, and repair of heavy trucks
- Certification in one or more OEM software, CAT, Cummins, Paccar, Detroit, Volvo etc.
- Perform and follow Diagnostic Trouble Shooting Trees
- Electrical Pin-Outs
- Perform major engine repairs for internal and external failures
- Communicate timeframes, expectations, and issues to the leadership team
- Test drive trucks for drivability issues
Compensation:
- $40-$60/hr Starting wage is based upon previous experience, certifications, and training.
- Ability to bill out more than 40 hours per week
