The Electrician will perform general installation and service of electrical systems including services, distribution, lighting, and equipment connections. Low-voltage installations will also be the responsibility of the Electrician. The Electrician supports the total quality effort by identifying and responding to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- 5-7 years of commercial electrical experience
- Cat 5-6 and other low voltage experience (preferred)
- Ability to analyze and understand complex technical writings, schematics, drawings, blueprints, etc.
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English, including technical writing, speech, and other business correspondence
- Unencumbered US driver’s license
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required
Key Job Duties:
- Perform quoted work, service calls, and low-voltage installations, including remodels, lighting, machine connections, Cat5e, and HVAC control wiring.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, communicate with sales/management teams, and identify new opportunities to enhance service and retention.
- Ensure timely material orders, proper installation, accurate documentation, and daily completion of paperwork.
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Promote company services, attend meetings, and continually pursue professional growth and learning.
