Mechanical Resource Group, an HVAC, hydronics, sales, and service organization, is seeking a Receptionist for an in-person, part-time role. This position offers a flexible schedule, typically working 4-6 hours per day Monday-Friday during normal business hours. - Answer phones, direct calls, research and assist with customer needs when necessary, handle routine matters and present a positive, professional image of self and company in all matters.
- Welcome guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the phone, answering or directing inquiries.
- Maintain office and break room supplies, proactively reordering as needed; evaluating new products and vendors.
- Send/receive/distribute mail, recording checks received.
- Manage licenses and renewals.
- Arrange catering for lunches and events.
- Organize and manage employee/client gifts and cards.
- Maintain training room and conference room schedules.
- Maintain company calendar and update in Outlook, including all meetings, employee anniversaries and birthdays.
- Ensure operation of phones, postage meter, AV equipment, and copiers by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- 2-3 years of customer service preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and takes initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a professional environment.
