Automotive Technician – Bilingual Spanish/English Preferred
We are looking for a skilled, dependable Automotive Technician to join our team at a busy independent repair shop that services all makes and models.
We are especially interested in an experienced technician who is strong in diagnostics and can efficiently identify both straightforward and more difficult vehicle problems. We want someone who can think through problems, use diagnostic information correctly, and help keep vehicles moving through the shop.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate:
- Has strong automotive repair and diagnostic experience
- Can diagnose electrical, drivability, mechanical, and check-engine-light concerns
- Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Can handle both basic repairs and more advanced diagnostic work
- Is bilingual in Spanish and English
- Can read and write effectively in both Spanish and English
- Has their own professional automotive tools
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Keeps their work area clean and organized
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Can work independently while also being part of a team
- Is comfortable working on all makes and models
- Documents findings clearly and communicates what the vehicle needs
- Verifies repairs and makes sure the customer's concern has been resolved
