What you will be doing as a METAL FINISHER:
- Examine and feel surfaces od metal to detect defects such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal
- Remove dents, weld welts, and fills even surfaces with weld
- Prepares metal surfaces for painting
- Smooth surface of item to specified finish
- Polishes metal surface
- Other duties as assigned
What it takes to be a METAL FINISHER:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one year related experience and/or training is preferred.
- Ability to train and work with others (Team Concept).
- Ability to do basic math
- Be able to lift and move 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
