Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Performs routine inspections and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance according to procedures to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
- Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility, including doors, windows, and flooring.
- Provides support to other departments regarding process and/or equipment changes.
- Trains and mentors new maintenance associates.
- Installs equipment, components, and systems with and without outside services.
- Identifies and reports potential safety hazards. Applies corrective action(s) as necessary.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, and inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Inspects tools, parts, and equipment regularly to ensure good working condition, and requests replacements as needed.
- Follows all safety regulations and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Requirements
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
Experience Requirements
- Three years of maintenance experience.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
- Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
- May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
