Job Responsibilities
- Establishes standards and policies for installation, modification, testing, operating procedures, inspection and maintenance of equipment according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Leads, mentors, supports, and trains maintenance team.
- Tracks and maintains optimum labor utilization and efficiency.
- Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract satisfaction.
- Management of spare parts, material and inventories.
- Plans, coordinates, and schedules all predictive and preventative maintenance programs for structures, utilities, and equipment.
- Provides technical support and communicates to other departments regarding process and/or equipment changes.
- Builds and maintains relationships with other internal departments and outside services.
- Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory laws and ISO requirements.
- Follows and ensures maintenance team follows all safety regulations. Identifies and corrects potential safety hazards.
- Completes other projects as assigned.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead and direct work in fast-paced environment.
- Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing maintenance processes related to machinery, carpentry, electrical, etc.
- Associates degree in relevant field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minium three years of maintenance leadership experience. Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.
