Job Overview
We are seeking a proven and detail-oriented Foreman with a minimum of 7 years' experience to join our Electrical Construction Team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and coordinate various aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards we are accustomed to. Your expertise in Electrical Construction management, task scheduling, material ordering and site supervision will drive project success from inception through completion. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedule using construction management software at times such as Pro-Core etc.to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee daily construction site activities, supervising teams and subcontractors at times to uphold safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project specifications and facilitate accurate execution.
- Manage material, material budgets, and procurement processes, including cost control measures.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on-site.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam and Ohmmeter for project documentation, measurement verification, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve issues related to project scope, schedule delays, or technical challenges.
- Assist in project meetings, prepare project reports, and communicate effectively with Project Manager, clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Hold valid Master or Journeyman electrical licenses in MD and WV.
- Ability to educate apprentice at times to ensure they learn and have an avenue to learn and develop into a licensed electrician.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Electrical Construction management with a strong background in managing large commercial-scale projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site safety standards including OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency/understanding with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing construction crews and subcontractors effectively.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and project specifications.
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling, budgeting, quality control processes, and management of construction projects from start to finish.
