MEC Aerial Work Platforms is expanding and excited to announce the opening of our new manufacturing facility in Duncan, South Carolina. We are seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our growing team across multiple departments.
We currently have openings in the following areas:
- Manufacturing Technician
- Assembly Technician
- Production Associate
- Warehouse Associate
- Shipping Technician
- Receiving Technician
- Quality Control / Decals Technician
- Facilities Maintenance Technician
Qualified candidates will be considered for positions based on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
Position Summary
Team members perform a variety of manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, quality, shipping, receiving, and facility support functions to help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. Responsibilities vary depending on assigned department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Assemble components and finished products according to specifications and work instructions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely.
- Inspect products for quality and compliance with company standards.
- Apply decals, labels, and product identification markings.
- Pick, pack, receive, and stage materials for production and shipment.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
- Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist with facility maintenance and repair activities as assigned.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, shipping, receiving, maintenance, or quality experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
- Forklift experience is a plus for certain positions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
