What does a Maintenance Technician Do?

You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for maintenance and repair activities on the facility and equipment, including but not limited to electrical and mechanical operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance techniques.
• Collaborate and help other technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with management when confronted with complex troubleshooting and repairs.
• Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment.
• Engage with floor managers and equipment operators to analyze equipment performance, troubleshoot to isolate problems, and determine actions needed to restore system to proper performance specification.

Job Requirements and Skills

• Three plus years of equipment maintenance experience – servicing, troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical automated machinery.(Preferred) 
• The ability to interpret schematics  
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
• Highly motivated 
• Excellent communication skills
• Have a high attention for detail
• Prioritizing time management and organizational skills
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic power systems, conveyor systems, and/or control systems.
