Meat Cutter

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Meat Cutter to join our team and provide excellent service to our customers. The Meat Cutter will be responsible for:

• Cutting, trimming, and preparing various cuts of meat according to customer specifications
• Ensure proper handling and storage of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
• Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment, such as knives, saws, grinders, and slicers
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Follow processing direction for production of bratwurst, smokes meats, other specialty items

• Preparing the meat case for business

• Processing register transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing a high level of customer service.

• Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and assisting customers with their purchases

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a meat cutter or butcher in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not necessary
• Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their uses
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong knife skills and the ability to handle meat safely and efficiently
