Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inventory control, including stock replenishment, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
- Lead procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing favorable pricing to maximize value and reduce costs.
- Analyze supply chain data using tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Nielsen to identify trends, forecast demand, and support demand planning initiatives.
- Implement process improvements through root cause analysis and supply chain analytics to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, materials handling, and logistics coordination with 3PL providers.
- Conduct financial analysis related to inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and procurement budgets to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to optimize stock levels for retail or e-commerce channels while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and control.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or inventory control within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400), and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, supplier management, and contract sourcing to secure advantageous terms.
- Skilled in data mining, data collection, and analytics techniques for demand planning and supply chain optimization.
- Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, production planning, and materials management.
