Position Summary
Measure Twice Construction is seeking a highly organized and proactive Materials Coordinator to support apartment renovation projects by coordinating, tracking, picking up, delivering, and organizing materials for active units. This role helps ensure projects stay on schedule by keeping crews material-ready and preventing delays caused by missing or incorrect materials. The Materials Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager to support project execution, material logistics, and field coordination.
Daily Responsibilities
● Track material status for active units and projects
● Coordinate material deliveries and supplier pickups
● Pick up and deliver materials to job sites and suppliers
● Verify delivered materials are correct and undamaged
● Organize and stage materials by project and unit
● Maintain accurate material tracking systems
● Follow up on missing, delayed, or incorrect materials
● Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding upcoming material needs and priorities
● Respond to material-related field issues to help avoid delays
Weekly Responsibilities
● Attend kickoff meetings for newly approved projects to understand scope, sequencing, and material needs
● Review upcoming unit schedules and material priorities with Project Manager
● Visit active job sites to verify materials and staging
● Coordinate upcoming deliveries and pickups
● Provide weekly material status reports for active projects
Preferred qualifications include:
● Construction, apartment renovation, warehouse, logistics, or maintenance experience
preferred
● Strong organization and attention to detail
● Comfortable visiting job sites and suppliers regularly
● Reliable transportation required
● Ability to lift and move materials as needed
● Strong communication and follow-up skills
