JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN
We are looking to fill an Electrician opening throughout the Midwest As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems. You’ll work with a team, providing guidance to apprentices, troubleshooting electrical systems, and adhering to safety and local code requirements. If you enjoy working hands-on, have excellent problem-solving skills, and have experience in the electrical field, this position provides an opportunity to grow and make a significant impact.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Maintain current electrician’s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations
- 4 years of electrical experience
- Possess the required personal tools
- Knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes
- Skilled at oral and written communication, planning, and training
- Skilled problem solving and troubleshooting
- The physical requirements for this role include:
- Manual dexterity for use of hand and power tools
- Good vision (either normal or corrected) and good balance
- Repeated bending, stooping, reaching, working overhead
- Walking, climbing, standing, crouching, crawling, for periods of time
- Repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds overhead
- Work from heights of up to 50 ft, including on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas
- Work as needed in tight spaces, including in manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
