Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will greet guests with a smile, take accurate orders, handle payments, and ensure a positive dining experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival.
- Take customer orders in person and over the phone with accuracy.
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
- Provide menu information and answer customer questions.
- Ensure orders are correct before handing them to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter and dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with packaging food orders when needed.
- Handle customer concerns in a polite and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Prior cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and people skills.
