Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 in-home and community-based ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This role is ideal for candidates passionate about helping children with autism reach meaningful milestones while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Service Area and Schedule

Sessions take place in client homes and community settings across Gwinnett County, including Suwanee, Buford, and Alpharetta.

Typical hours:

• Monday–Friday: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

• Saturday–Sunday: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Additional daytime hours may be available during school breaks and holidays based on client needs.

(Final schedules are determined by client availability.)

Compensation

$22 – $30 per billable hour

Exact rate is determined by factors such as education, certification status (RBT vs. non-RBT), relevant experience, and professional qualifications.

Payment is for completed and documented service hours.

What You’ll Do

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by your supervising BCBA

• Provide engaging, play-based sessions targeting communication, social, and daily living skills

• Collect accurate data using electronic systems (such as CR Essentials)

• Complete timely session documentation

• Communicate progress and strategies to caregivers

• Collaborate with your supervising BCBA and other team members

• Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Psychology, Education, or a related field

• Experience working with children (with or without developmental disabilities)

• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions across Gwinnett County

• Availability for at least three weekday afternoons

• Comfort working in home and community environments

• Professional, reliable, and strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

• Experience with Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET)

• Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred but not required

Growth and Development Opportunities

• RBT Pathway: Training and supervision available for candidates pursuing certification

• BCBA Candidates: Supervision and practicum hours may be offered

Requirements

• Background check (required)

• TB test and vaccination documentation as required in healthcare or education settings

• Consistent attendance, which is critical to client progress
