Now Hiring: Sous Chef – Meals on Wheels of Salem County
Join our mission-driven team and help bring nutritious, home-cooked meals to our neighbors in need! Meals on Wheels of Salem County is seeking a Sous Chef to assist in daily kitchen operations, including:
- Prep work – washing, chopping, and preparing fresh ingredients
- Packaging – portioning and sealing meals for delivery
- Labeling – ensuring all meals are correctly marked for clients
- Delivering- may need to fill in for delivery person- Valid License Required
- Supporting the Head Chef with cooking and kitchen organization
Requirements:
- Kitchen or food service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for serving the community and working as part of a team
Schedule: 20 Hours a Week-7:30am-12:30pm Monday–Friday, daytime hours (no nights or weekends!)
Location: Meals on Wheels Kitchen – Elmer, Salem County, NJ

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
