Intake Paralegal

Meagher & Meagher, P.C. is seeking a highly motivated Intake Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. As an Intake Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys during the pre-litigation phase of the case. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of cases and gain valuable experience in the legal field. Position Overview:

$40K/yr - $50K/yr / On site / Full-Time

- Handle incoming inquiries from potential clients.

- Conduct basic research on related topics and statutes.

- Request medical records and accident/incident reports.

- Prepare and submit applications, forms, correspondence, and other necessary documents within set deadlines.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.

- Ensure all documents are organized and uploaded on the online database.

- Draft, edit, file, and send for service the Summons and Complaints to assist with firm pleadings and litigation.

- Maintain contact with clients in email/phone communications.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution, preferred but not required.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
