Overview
Meadville Convalescent Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical setting, preferably in assisted living or senior care. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff to provide high-quality care to patients in the long-term care facility. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to aseptic technique, and a basic understanding of medical terminology.
**Responsibilities:**
- - Assist with vital sign monitoring, including taking blood pressure, pulse, and temperature readings.
- - Support patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- - Provide emotional support and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients. - Document patient care and vital sign readings in medical records. Assist with patient transfers and ambulation as needed.
- - Demonstrate a commitment to aseptic technique and maintain a clean and organized environment.

**Qualifications:**
- - Current certification as a Nursing Assistant.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
