We are looking for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The LPN assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team, in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice.

• Actively engage in the health care team, offering direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions continuously throughout their care journey.
• Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of MBH.
• Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.
• Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.

• The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing a basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

• Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited licensed practical nursing program requires a valid Illinois State LPN license.

• Experience: At least three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.

• Additional Skill Requirements:
  • Demonstrate exceptional crisis management and time management skills. Showcase your flexibility and creativity with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Exhibit a calm, organized, and professional demeanor even in stressful situations.
  • Must pass a competency exam upon hire.
  • May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

We are seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $38.00 per hour *, depending on employment status, experience, qualifications, and skill level. Join us as an LPN
