JOIN OUR TEAM AS A HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST/ ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Human Resource Generalist/ Administrative Assistant to support the successful launch and daily operations of Meadowview Behavioral Hospital, opening early 2026. This hybrid role is ideal for a resourceful professional passionate about employee support, administrative excellence, and helping to build a compassionate, mission-driven workplace from the ground up.
This role provides essential HR coordination, staff credentialing, and supports administrative operations—ensuring that staff, patients, and leaders have the structure, communication, and support they need to thrive.
Human Resources Support
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting roles, communicating with candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, benefits enrollment, digital workflows, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure compliance with corporate, state, and federal requirements.
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, policies, benefits, and procedures in a professional, timely manner.
- Assist leadership with employee relations matters and HR compliance initiatives.
- Support workforce engagement through participation in recognition programs, events, and training activities.
- Assist the HR Director with reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to ensure an organized, efficient, and professional environment.
- Responsible for credentialing process of providers and medical staff.
- Manage clerical functions including filing, correspondence, scheduling, copying, data entry, and phone coverage.
- Maintain departmental manuals, records, and procedure documents.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, trainings, and department activities.
- Prepare, type, and format reports, memos, and other written materials with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Respond to inquiries and requests in a courteous, customer-centered manner.
- Ensure clear communication channels by relaying pertinent information to department leadership.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health environment.
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant or coordinator with credentialing strongly preferred.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook); Paycom experience a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple priorities.
- Typing proficiency (65 words per minute preferred).
- Flexibility to support operational needs, including occasional extended hours.

Compensation
This full-time position offers an expected salary range of $60,000–$70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. We are excited to meet qualified candidates and will consider experience, education, and HR/administrative scope in final compensation decisions.
