Position Summary:
Ensure all accounting tasks are performed correctly and according to GAAP. Use
analytical skills and problem solving ability to resolve issues and provide support to
others within the company. Identify areas of process improvements through the use of
technology. Ensure that technology is being utilized to maximize efficiencies while
producing quality work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly
- recorded, creating and reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, management
- & leasing fee calculations and report preparation.
- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures.
- Liaison for establishing and managing bank accounts.
- Provide oversight for processing 1099’s.
- Administrator for Tenant Connect, AvidXchange & Concur software systems.
- Review tenant lease files (as needed).
- Provide support and leadership for A/R and A/P Specialists, including annual reviews.
- Assist with annual budgets for properties managed.
- Assist with various projects as needed.

- Must be diligent and proactive.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting from a four-year college or university; and two
- years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
- experience.
- Experience with MRI and AvidXchange preferred.
- Experience in Real Estate industry preferred.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background, credit and drug screen.
