The Meadows of Napa Valley is an upscale Continuing Care Retirement Community set on a scenic 20-acre campus in the heart of wine country. Our community includes 243 independent living apartments, a 69-bed Skilled Nursing Facility and Rehabilitation Center, a 40-apartment Assisted Living Facility, and a 20-apartment Memory Support Center. We’re currently seeking compassionate and reliable Unit Assistants to support our Skilled Nursing Facility team. What You'll Be Doing
As a Unit Assistant at The Meadows of Napa Valley, you will be responsible for receiving and coordinating incoming calls while ensuring that resident and visitor’s needs are being met in a timely and efficient manner. You will maintain a high level of customer service and participate in person-centered, individualized care activities while assisting in the continuity of the exchange of information between departments.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or a healthcare environment preferred.
- Exceptional customer service, communication and organizational skills, especially with cognitively impaired residents. High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with others as well as function independently.
- Knowledge of and follow through with universal precautions.
Schedule Options
- Full Time: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call: As needed, Sunday through Saturday
Wages
- $20.00 - $22.20 per hour, DOE
