EEI is looking for a VAN DRIVER~ 8 AM-4:30 PM
JOB TITLE: Van Driver Full Time 40 Hours BI-weekly
MON, TUES, WED, MON TUES
5 Days bi-weekly
SUPERVISED BY: Maintenance Director
Required Education, Training, and Experience
Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; skills normally associated with education and/or experience beyond high school; moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; thorough knowledge of general maintenance. ability to lift objects weight 75 lbs.; manual dexterity skills sufficient to operate small power tools; ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and climb ladders; valid Pennsylvania operator’s license required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – CPR/First Aid; Valid PA Driver’s License (Must have clean driving record)
General Responsibilities
Responsible for driving the van for The Meadows Manor. & The Meadows Nursing & Rehab Center. This includes driving and escorting residents to appointments, shopping, leisure rides, and activities.
Insuring the department’s compliance with operating policies and procedures as well as outside regulatory requirements; organizing the work and activities of the department; communicating with appropriate personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Works with the Maintenance Department in order to insure that The Manor’s buildings and grounds are properly maintained and performs the following duties:
a. Establishes work priorities.
b. Advises and consults with the Administrator on small maintenance projects
c. may paint and perform minor carpentry and repair work, may wash outside windows and screens, performs maintenance on machinery such as vacuum cleaners and changing light bulbs.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Van driver: 1 year (Preferred)
