We are seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to become the welcoming face and efficient backbone of our law office. Meadows Law Firm firm serves our clients in Criminal and Traffic Law.
The Receptionist supports lawyers and staff with various tasks, such as administrative duties, communicating with clients, and organizing client intake. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression for everyone entering the office
- Handle incoming correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages, with efficiency and confidentiality
- Maintain organized filing systems—both digital and paper—to support data entry, record keeping, and document retrieval
- Proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), and basic data entry skills
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings using applications like Microsoft Office
- Client File Preparation: Collect, examine, and organize legal documents for supervisor and attorney review.
- Proofread and generate Legal Pleadings for accuracy and clarity before filing
- Provide client support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally in person or over the phone
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy to ensure up-to-date records are maintained. Knowledge of MyCase or similar case management software a plus
- Previous office experience or clerical experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and excellent phone etiquette
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations in a professional setting
- Experience with administrative tasks such as filing, proofreading, calendar management, and document preparation
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve some of out diverse clients effectively: Russian, Uzbek or Spanish preferred but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
