What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Writer & Admin Assistant (one position) position at Meadows Hydraulics Sales & Service, Inc.?

Looking for someone who is very detailed oriented and able to multi task in an occasionally fast paced environment. Heavy truck experience is preferred, but we will accept someone with a strong mechanical knowledge. You will be asked difficult questions to test mechanical knowledge & aptitude. This is not pass/fail... just testing your knowledge level. Prefer someone with QuickBooks experience, but we are willing to train the right individual. Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite 2024 (Word, Outlook for emails and some light Excel). Daily tasks of answering multi-line phone system, writing up work orders, customer set-up, taking in hydraulic cylinders for repairs, scheduling repairs, creating work orders inside QuickBooks, some job costing, some invoice tasks (such as thorough proof reading invoices before being provided to customer), customer service with fleet accounts, and assisting with various office duties as needed to directly support the President (who is currently sales manager & service manager). Duties may vary upon work load and is not limited to just items listed above.

Full time 40 hrs weekly.
8 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday with no 2nd or 3rd shifts or nights!
