As the Culinary Specialist you will prepare food and serve facility meals maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.

- Prepares and serves meals.
- Maintains kitchen area and equipment in a clean and organized manner following kitchen cleaning scheduled and standards set by the Health Department.
- Records temperatures on kitchen appliances.
- Maintain food temperature record log.
- Assures that all pertinent paperwork is completed per department protocol.
- Maintain order lists for items that may be needed for next food delivery.
- Receive and stock incoming supplies.
- Ability to converse in English with others to give, take and process information; extensive use of telephone.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, multi-task, coordinate projects and record/transcribe general and specific meeting minutes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Communicate with other staff to relay concerns and observations involving patient safety.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Food Handers Card or Serve Safe Certification required.
- Two years food production experience required
