Job Summary
The teaching assignment is for an elementary classroom teacher to provide an educational program for pupils in grades kindergarten through fifth, or a combination thereof, and assist other school programs as assigned. Applicants will only be contacted if invited for an interview.

Application Requirements: • Cover Letter • MATES Certificated Application (download from school website www.matescharter.org) • Resume • Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation • 10-20 Minute Lesson Video (Lesson should be in alignment with MATES best practices) • Send application and supporting documentation to Kristen Walker at kwalker@matescharter.org All selected candidates must complete fingerprint clearance and must submit a valid driver’s license, proof of tuberculosis clearance, proof of passing CBEST score or alternative basic skill requirement, and a social security card.
Summary of Position: Under the immediate direction of the Executive Director, the teacher is responsible for the academic, social and psychological growth of the students in the classroom. The teacher collaborates with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to provide instructional programs and to perform other duties directly related to this position description.
