Our newly acquired, 99 bed facility in Clearlake California is searching for a Director of Staff Development to join our seasoned nursing management team! The ideal candidate will possess the capacity to lead new employees to have success in their positions by ensuring there is a solid orientation in place, conduct continued education for the facility and encourage all employees to extend the best care to the residents we serve! Strong knowledge of the long term care setting is necessary along with a passion for upholding regulations, both state and federal, a willingness to teach practice geared toward those regulations. The person chosen will assist in facilitating the schedule for nursing staff, ensure CEUs are extended and guidance toward best practice occurs.
