Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification in TESOL, TEFL, or other relevant ESL teaching credentials is a plus.
- Proven experience as an ESL Instructor
- Strong command of the English language, including excellent grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and adapt them to different proficiency levels and age groups.
- Empathy and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse student populations from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
- A strengths-based approach to fostering language development that employs patience and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students and Meadowlands Family Success Center Director
- Flexibility to offer in-person, hybrid, or distance learning when weather conditions or
- Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into language instruction is an advantage
