What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Jobs position at Meadowbrook Country Day Camp?
Working at Meadowbrook Day Camp is a fantastic way to spend your summer. Positions are all fun and active. You will go home daily smiling and eager to return the next day!

- Live within a 1 hour drive of Long Valley, NJ (we do not offer any housing)
TRAVEL COUNSELOR – ($16/hr) (Must be 21 Years or older) – Spend half the summer on exciting trips and the other half at our 55 acre camp site doing sports, crafts, swimming and the like with our campers. This will likely be the most fun job you ever have. Trips include Broadway Shows, Amusement Parks, Water Parks, Baseball Games, Arcades and so much more!
GENERAL COUNSELOR - ($3 - $15.23 based on age) High school/college aged staff who work with groups of campers PreK - 6th grade. Get assigned a group for the summer and participate in activities with them! You can make money and have the most fun summer that you've had in years!
LIFEGUARD – ($3 - $15.50 based on age) Need to already have or be able to pass a Lifeguard Certification course. Be a part of or 30 Lifeguard member staff. Teach swim instruction in the mornings and guard in the afternoons. We supply bathing suits, shirts, sweatshirts and even a certification course at camp if needed!
ATHLETIC SPECIALIST – ($15.23/hr., must be 18 yrs or older) Soccer, Softball, Basketball, Hockey, Golf, Flag Football, Team Handball, Ga-Ga, Archery, Gymnastics, Tennis, Yoga, Mountain Bikes and Boards… This is just the start of what our Athletic Specialist teach the skills of and officiate games in. The diverse list of activities allows our specialist to engage in different activities during the summer. Perfect for Phys. Ed. Majors/teachers and college athletes.
Lake Staff - ($3 - $15.23/hr.) Fishing, Bumper Boats and Kayaks, Oh MY! Spend your summer at out private lake teaching campers how to fish and boating skills. All staff must be able to have or pass a lifeguard certification course, that we will pay for.
PHOTOGRAPHER/Videographer - ($15.23/hr. college age or older) Take and upload photos/videos to our site daily. Must have your own equipment.
BUS DRIVER - Must have a clean driving record and possess a CDL with P & S endorsements. Competitive pay and great routes. Get your summer route now and don't waste months worrying about it!
MAINTENANCE STAFF - ($15.23 -$16/hr) Starts in April and work through the summer and possibly into September. Painting, cleaning, light landscaping and other basic tasks. You do not need to be highly skilled (although that is ok), you just need to be a good worker, we can teach you the skills you need.
