What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Special Events & Assistant Pool Director position at Meadowbrook Country Day Camp?
Meadowbrook Day Camp is located on 55 magnificent acres in Long Valley, NJ.
We are looking to fill rare supervisory openings as Asst. Pool Director and Special Events Coordinator. These positions are great for experienced teachers and parents who want their children to attend camp. See descriptions below for each. Call Rich at 908-876-3429 if you are interested.
ASSISTANT POOL DIRECTOR - This is the first time in almost 10 years that this position has been open. Work with our returning Pool Director to supervise our 30 member Lifeguard Staff. Teach them how to teach swim instruction, help create guard rotations and ensure the general well-being of all participants.
APLLICANTS MUST...
- be available 6/22 - 8/14 (Mon - Fri), 8:30am - 4:00 pm
- have extensive experience lifeguarding
- have extensive experience teaching swim instruction
- be able to pass all background checks
It is a plus if the applicant has LGI cert, WSI, CPO

SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR - Help create the days of camp that will be remembered by our campers for decades!. Work closely with our Special Events Director to finalize the planning of events and then help to implement them during the summer.
