What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Graphic Design Coordinator position at Meadowbrook Church Incorporated?
Meadowbrook Church is seeking a creative and passionate Graphic Designer to maintain and elevate the primary Meadowbrook Church visual brand identity across digital, print, environmental, and video channels. They will have the opportunity to serve along with other creative, driven, and like-minded individuals in helping facilitate the vision of Meadowbrook Church by helping people move from where they are to where God wants them to be.
The ideal candidate is an active, dedicated follower of Jesus with a servant’s heart for ministry: they love God, they love people, and they love the church. This candidate has strong interpersonal skills with a heart for servant leadership and a passion for serving the local church. They are self-starters who take initiative, carry vision, and move it forward within their area of influence with care and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Familiarity with layout, typography, print production, and digital asset specs.
- Design graphics, series branding, event signage, stage graphics, slides, and environment visuals.
- Design, update, and maintain the organization's website, ensuring content is current, visually engaging, mobile-responsive, and optimized for user experience.
- Ensure visual consistency and high design standards across all church communications.
- Collaborate directly with ministry directors to understand their specific project needs and communication needs.
- Participate actively in event planning meetings, contributing innovative ideas.
- Partner with the social media team to build visual strategies for events, campaigns, website assets, email marketing, and print collateral.
- Manage design projects from concept to final print/digital delivery, keeping projects on schedule in a fast-paced ministry environment.
- Strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize competing deadlines across multiple ministry departments without sacrificing design quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a heart for servant leadership and a passion for serving our Meadowbrook family and our community.
- Maintains an attitude of excellence, authenticity, and intentional collaboration across all team interactions.
