Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications correctly under the guidance of the Director of Nursing (within scope of practice)
- Assist and prompt residents with laundry, cooking, and cleaning tasks
- Engage residents in activities while respecting their wants, needs, and rights
- Ensure the safety and security of all residents at all times
- Support residents in attending appointments with supervision as needed
- Collaborate positively with other staff to promote resident success and happiness
- Encourage residents to express concerns and refer to therapy staff when appropriate
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
Required Certifications
CBRF Certification
- First Aid & Choking
- Fire Safety
- Medication Administration
- Standard Precautions
