Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered care with compassion and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, hygiene, mobility, toileting, and dining
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
- Work collaboratively with all departments to provide quality care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the state
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Commitment to resident safety and quality care
- Ability to maintain regular attendance
- Completion of required continuing education (minimum 12 hours annually, or as required by state/federal regulations)
