Job Description
Meadow Ridge Pet Lodge is a locally owned pet care facility opening soon in Rapid City, SD. We are currently hiring Pet Lodge Attendants to support daily operations across multiple service areas including boarding, daycare, guest services, and social areas.
This position involves hands-on animal care, facility upkeep, and guest interaction in a structured, team-oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for dogs and cats including feeding, walking, monitoring, and enrichment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all animal and guest areas
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Monitor pet behavior and report concerns to supervisory staff
- Support operations in boarding, daycare, social areas, and front desk as assigned
- Follow all safety, animal-handling, and facility procedures
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and cleaning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must meet applicable state and local employment eligibility requirements
- Must be available AM and PM shifts, weekends and some holidays
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
