Employment Type: Full Time

Company Overview
Meadow Partners is a vertically integrated real estate private equity manager with approximately $6.0 billion of gross assets under management, headquartered in New York City. Since its founding in 2009 by Jeffrey Kaplan, J. Andrew McDaniel and Timothy Yantz, Meadow has specialized in middle-market transactions in a few of the largest and most liquid real estate markets in the world. The firm’s executive team averages over 20 years of investment experience and a proven track record of institutional investment management.
Meadow invests across the risk spectrum on behalf of blue-chip institutional investors, managing a series of commingled opportunistic funds, an open-end perpetual-life vehicle, and core/core-plus separately managed accounts. In addition to direct equity investments, the firm originates structured credit and preferred equity positions across multifamily, industrial and office assets. Meadow’s business model is designed to focus singularly on investment performance rather than asset accumulation. For more information, please visit www.meadowpartners.com.
About the Role

- Assisting in the preparation of investment papers and supporting materials presented to the Investment Committee
- Supporting deal execution, coordinating with brokers, lenders, and legal, technical, tax and financial advisors
- Assisting with the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and structuring of potential equity and credit/preferred equity investments
- Supporting the asset management of fund investments, including tracking business plans and coordinating with joint venture partners and third-party service providers
- Conducting market, property and tenant research to support investment and asset management decisions
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reporting, pitches, proposals and marketing materials
- Building and maintaining an understanding of market conditions, capital markets, investment vehicles and relevant regulation
About the Candidate
We are seeking a dynamic, self-starting professional with approximately 2–3 years of experience in real estate private equity, real estate investment banking, corporate finance, or a related discipline, and a strong quantitative skillset. Given the entrepreneurial nature of the team, the ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams while learning quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
The candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications will ideally include:
- Approximately 2–3 years of real estate, corporate finance, or investment banking experience, ideally with some transactional exposure
- Strong academic pedigree
- Highly numerate, with excellent financial and real estate analytical skills, including an understanding of financial statements, capital structures, and real estate financing and taxation
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability and a solid command of core financial concepts used to evaluate investments and build models — cash flow analysis, time value of money, and return on investment
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); proficiency in Argus (AE) is a must
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, with determination, initiative, and demonstrated high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, data-driven, deadline-oriented environment
