Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Maintain accurate medication administration records (MARs).
- Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns promptly.
- Assist with daily living activities as needed (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, and families.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and education programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Medication Technician certification (state-specific).
- Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
