Sewing Machine Operators – Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Webster Area

Pay: $23–$29/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00AM- 4:00PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (10 hours of OT may be required)

Our client in the Webster area is seeking three skilled Sewing Machine Operators to join their fast-growing Aerospace manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to put your high-quality garment construction experience to work while contributing to the production of specialized Aerospace garments.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment to produce garments according to specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure reliable operation and longevity.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and strict deadlines.
• Inspect finished garments to ensure they meet all quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Accurately document production output and report issues to supervisors.
• Assist with training new operators on equipment use and safety procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial sewing experience with strong proficiency in high-quality garment construction.
• Experience operating Straight Stitch (single & double needle), Walking Foot, Bartack, Buttonhole, and 3-Thread Rolled Hem Serger machines.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues quickly.
• Effective communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation.
