Marketing and Events Coordinator

Purpose:

Supports the Parts, Service, and Sales Departments by coordinating and executing sales events, customer experience activities, and advertising promotions.

Responsibilities: 

1. Extracts Customer information on current and prospective customers and provides to sales representatives 
2. Captures and records customer information obtained from customer events into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application 
3. Plans and coordinates logistics, communications, and activities for sales events, customer experience events, meetings, or focus groups including the documentation of best practices 
4. Coordinates advertising and promotions for the dealership
5. Executes, measures, and reports the effectiveness (including cost/benefit and return on investment) of sales events
6. Adheres to the promotion budget for the entire organization or per location/department which may include managing vendor invoices and claims
7. Order and distribute promotional materials for the dealership (i.e. banners, trinkets, pamphlets, brand apparel etc.)
8. Updates customer data to ensure accurate records such as addresses for mailing lists
9. Act as a liaison with manufacturer’s advertising and marketing communications
10. Act as a liaison for all media and advertising relationships and may support or create graphic designs
11. Occasional travel with some overnight stays will be expected

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: 

1. 2 years of administrative experience
2. Valid Driver’s License required
3. Experience in graphic design preferred
4. Basic clerical expertise and knowledge of office procedures
5. Proven ability to manage projects which would include multi-tasking, prioritizing, and successfully managing multiple events simultaneously
6. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
7. Ability to use a (CRM) Customer Relationship Management application
8. Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
9. High School Diploma or equivalent
10. Associate’s degree in marketing or graphic design preferred
