Job Description:
Meade Engineering is seeking our first-ever Field Marketing Manager to establish our regional marketing strategy, sales enablement, and event execution in support of our continued hypergrowth. This inaugural role is a unique opportunity to help build and scale the field marketing function from the ground up while playing a hands-on role in growing pipeline and revenue across a designated territory.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven marketer with a strong understanding of how to reach buyers and support sales teams. This role will be responsible for planning and executing local events, building tailored go-to-market strategies for key accounts, and developing region-specific campaigns in close partnership with business development and technical stakeholders. The Field Marketing Manager will also work alongside the Customer Marketing Manager to ensure message alignment, branding consistency, and strategic use of marketing assets.
Job Duties:
- Take full ownership of field marketing efforts within your assigned region, developing detailed and strategic plans to support regional growth goals.
- Design and implement account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for priority clients in the engineering and construction space.
- Collaborate closely with sales leaders to build territory-specific pipeline strategies that reflect the region's technical service offerings and customer landscape.
- Plan, manage, and execute events such as technical symposiums and industry conferences that enhance visibility and drive engagement.
- Develop marketing content which highlights the company's expertise and solutions.
- Support sales teams with targeted collateral, campaigns, and tools that drive conversion across the funnel.
- Build relationships with local industry associations, publications, and partners to expand our presence and secure speaking/editorial opportunities.
- Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, lead quality, and event ROI to both regional and executive audiences.
- Work with the broader marketing team to ensure branding consistency, message alignment, and optimal use of central assets.
- Partner with the Customer Marketing Manager to localize content, amplify customer success stories, and support external communications.
- Contribute to building scalable processes, templates, and frameworks that will define the future of the Field Marketing organization.
- Manage vendor relationships and budgets with attention to performance, cost-efficiency, and impact.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5 years of B2B marketing experience, with 2 years running Field Marketing Programs.
- Demonstrated success executing regional marketing campaigns that support complex solutions.
- Strong content development skills and an ability to translate technical information into compelling marketing materials.
- Proven ability to plan and execute industry events with measurable business outcomes.
- Highly organized and results-oriented with excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Proficiency in marketing and project management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, Tableau).
- Experience managing budgets and measuring ROI from marketing programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with sales teams on ABM or regional campaign planning.
- Understanding of buyer personas and sales cycles.
- Strong presence and relationship-building skills within local communities and trade networks.
